The Ministry of Health (Minsal) reported that the Valparaíso region will shorten the duration of the curfew, by complying with all the conditions established by the updated Step by Step plan.
The Government reported that as of Tuesday, July 20, the night time restriction will begin at 00:00 and not at 22:00, as in other areas of the country.
The region managed to advance in this measure by having 80% of its population vaccinated with the complete scheme and a rate of active cases of less than 150. Valparaíso has 80.5% vaccination coverage
