Baron Station is a suburban railway and is located on the pier of the same name and near the Cerro Baron, this station of Metro Valparaiso is one of the most frequented along with Viña del Mar. It is located between two very busy avenues, Argentina and Errázuriz. The first place where works were made for the Valparaíso - Santiago railroad were in this station during the year 1852. By 1922 and 1928 it was completely demolished and rebuilt, achieving a simple design with only one floor. It was renovated and reopened in 2005.

Baron Station is close to some tourist attractions, such as; Municipal Theater, Bus Terminal and Plaza O'higgins.
